Microsoft Share point
First what it is?
Microsoft share point application lets you interact with your developement team in a variety of ways. It has inbuilt discussion board, Documents sharing, Issue tracker (similar to a bug tracker), Events (like meetings, deadlines etc), Surveys, Announcements, Member contact details etc. You can import/export these details to excel.
Where it is installed & how?
Its can be installed on your server. It uses IIS and has a web interface.
Who needs it?
Any small/large organization that wants to centralize their development activities. Share point services seamlessly integrate with Microsoft project.
